Crisis Numbers

Massachusetts Emergency Behavioral Health Services Program.

ESPs provide behavioral health crisis assessments, intervention, peer and family partners and stabilization services.  ESP services are provided in the home, community or school to all people (adults, adolescents and children) insured by MassHealth, Medicare and people without insurance.   NAMI recommends that people call their ESP instead of 911 or police. In Berkshire County you will reach the Brien Center Crisis Team who will respond immediately or within one hour of your call. It is not necessary to go to the emergency room because the team will come to you.

If you feel that your loved one is or soon will be in crisis please call 800 252-0227 or 413-499-0412 for help.
